Each option is costed for a fleet doing the work of 40 diesel trucks running 6,000 hours a year.
- Swap: packs swapped at a station in about 15 minutes and charged slowly off the truck.
- Fast charge: charged in the truck at the shovel.
- Static charge: charged in the truck while parked.
- Fortescue design: a 2.6 MWh pack charged in the truck at 6 MW, as Fortescue has described it.
Charge rates, energy per stop, time lost, cycle life and charger costs are ITK assumptions, set out in the table.
